CHANDLER DAVENPORT
THIRD GRADE TEACHER
& ATHLETIC DIRECTOR
I am celebrating my third year at Trinity after joining the teaching staff in 2018.
I have lived in several different places in Michigan, Indiana, and Illinois. I attended grade school at Trinity Lutheran in Reed City, MI. This is the place where I came to the realization that I wanted to be a Lutheran school teacher just like my wonderful teachers. I then went to high school at Lutheran High Westland and graduated in 2013.
College was next and I chose to attend school at Concordia Chicago. I graduated in 2017 with an Elementary Education degree and a minor in Theology. After college, I received a call to teach middle school at Immanuel Lutheran in Freeport, IL. I taught there for one year. In 2018 I moved back to Michigan and started teaching at Trinity.
I have 4 brothers (one older and 3 younger), along with a wonderful sister-in-law, a nephew, and another on the way! I love being an aunt!
My parents have always strengthened me in my faith and ministry. My dad is a pastor in Livonia, MI and my mom is a retired Lutheran teacher. I love spending time with my family. We love to be active outside while exploring our awesome state! I enjoy traveling, cooking, reading, quilting, and playing sports.
