TRACEY HACKBARTH
FIRST GRADE TEACHER
I am Tracey Hackbarth. I teach 1st grade at Trinity Lutheran School in Monroe, Michigan. I have been teaching at Trinity since August 1997. Science and reading are my favorite subjects to teach.
I am originally from Wisconsin (GO PACKERS!) and moved with my family to Michigan so that I could teach at Trinity. I graduated with my Bachelor of Arts degree in Lutheran Elementary Education (with an emphasis on Early Childhood) from Concordia University Wisconsin in December 1994. I earned a Masters Degree in the Art of Teaching from Marygrove College in May 2004.
I have been married to Rich Hackbarth for 26 years. We have been blessed with four wonderful children: Abbey (25), Tom (23), Sam (20) & John (16). I have one beautiful granddaughter named Madelyn Rose (3) and a handsome newborn grandson named Jamison Levi.
Outside of school, I enjoy reading, traveling, country music, volleyball, swimming and painting. I am also really good at shopping.
The best part of my job are my students. I love spending the day with them sharing God's word and watching them grow and learn. It is never a dull day in 1st grade.
