Hope

II Kings 20:1-11, Isaiah 38, 40, Ephesians 1:15-e

Those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. Isaiah 40:31

This is one of my favorite Bible passages. Why? Because all asks of me is to place my hope in Him—and my life will be greater than I could ever imagine. I do not place my hope in what God might do for me—I place it in Him. I trusts that whatever He gives will enable me to “soar on wings like eagles.” Now that is a beautiful thought.
