Beautiful

Jesus sat down opposite the place where the offerings were put and watched the crowd putting their money into the temple treasury. Many rich people threw in large amounts. But a poor widow came and put in two very small copper coins, worth only a few cents. Mark 12:41-42

The great photographers capture the beauty that others do not see. Jesus is the best photographer. Everyone was watching the rich men put their money into the offering plate. Jesus saw a poor widow put in two little coins. It was nothing to most, but to Jesus it was beautiful. After they had tossed in their big gifts the rich still were rich. The woman had put in everything she had because she gave “out of her poverty.” Look for the beautiful things today that the world often misses. Look for the kind gesture that is not expected, the act of faith that honors God. Thank God who sees something beautiful in YOU! Remember, the most beautiful thing this world has seen was Jesus bloodied and battered on the cross. He gave everything for you.
