Blessed

Isaiah 41-43, Ephesians 2:1-10


Because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved . Ephesians 2:4-5


Isaiah goes on and on about how blessed God’s people are to have a god they did not have to build. Our God is not helpless. In fact, God created all things. So why are we so tempted to ignore Him or to act as if God owes us. Think about that this week-end as you think about worship. Are you doing God a favor by worshipping Him or is He doing you a favor by letting you in? Never forget how blessed you are.
