Don't Forget!

You deserted the Rock, who fathered you; you forgot the God who gave you birth. Deuteronomy 32:18

This song of Deuteronomy 32 is beautiful until God’s people become the focus. Moses reminds the people how they had lost sight of all God had done for them. It is easier than you think – to forget all God has done. I think of all who have wandered away from worship. I think of the times I have thought life is mine to choose, to do with as I please. So I offer this prayer: Father, I am nothing apart from you. All I have is a gift from you, even my very being. Open my eyes to see again all the blessings you have given me. Open my lips to sing your praise. AMEN. (Have a great day!)
