Be careful that you do not forget the Lord, who brought you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery. Deuteronomy 6:12

Moses knows that God is going to bring blessing. He does not want them to enjoy the blessing and forget the God who would give them so much. They would take over a rich land and live in houses they had not built working farms they had not developed (vs.11). God has blessed your richly as well. Reflect on all the ways God has blessed you in your life (on top of all the times he has forgiven you). Don’t take all the stuff and leave God behind. Your greatest blessing is HIM. He loves you.
