For the Oppressed

A matter must be established by the testimony of two or three witnesses. Deuteronomy 19:15

God knows us. He knows we will lie (or stretch the truth) if it will benefit us or hurt someone we do not like. Thus it is God who established the need for corroboration in testimony. He did it to protect those who are brought before the judge. I am continually amazed at the many ways God works to protect those who would be hurt by others. I pray you are amazed today to know the lengths he goes to to protect you. God wants you to know you are safe. After all, he went all the way to the cross to protect you. Have a great day!
