From the Heart

God can testify how I long for all of you with the affection of Christ Jesus. Philippians 1:8

We all have a public face – how we want others to see us. St. Paul calls God as his witness for how much he loved the people with the love of Jesus. This is what I, as a pastor, aspire to. I want my love for those God has placed under my care to be true. I may need a public face to avoid saying something dumb, but I want my love to be true. This is the highest calling of a pastor—and of every Christian. Father, teach me to love like Jesus. AMEN.
