God is Good to Us

During the forty years that I led you through the wilderness, your clothes did not wear out, nor did the sandals on your feet. You ate no bread and drank no wine or other fermented drink. I did this so that you might know that I am the Lord your God. Deuteronomy 29:5-6

As I shared yesterday, God did not let the people understand what he was doing, but after the 40 years were completed, he opened their eyes to realize it was God who had fed them every day. It was God who did not allow their clothes or their sandals to deteriorate. It was God who protected their stomachs from all the bacteria in the water as they had no wine to drink. After 40 years they realized the miracle of God’s provision. Look back on your life – really look. I am pretty sure you will see many times where it was God’s hand that provided for you. Take a few minutes to reflect on all he has done for you—then praise his holy name. Have a great day!
