God Never Cuts Corners--Why do I?

Do not sacrifice to the Lord your God an ox or a sheep that has any defect or flaw in it, for that would be detestable to him. Deuteronomy 17:1

What is the best way to make God angry (besides hurting his children? Show him disrespect. We are so used to cutting corners that we do it with God. Of the many things God asks from us, how often do we give less? Think of your worship, offerings, prayers, reading of his Word, failure to love others – your failure to love God. We all fail to fully honor God, but don’t lie to yourself and say that you do. God, I am sorry for the “defective” things I place before you. Please forgive me. Thank YOU for giving your best to me—Jesus, your listening to my prayers, protecting me 24/7, your love. I realize what I deserve, but that you have poured out your grace on me instead. Thank YOU. AMEN.
