God's Persistent Love

Ezekiel 3-7, Matthew 13:1-23

I will not look on you with pity; I will not spare you. I will surely repay you for your conduct and for the detestable practices among you. “‘Then you will know that I am the Lord.’ Ezekiel 7:4

Sometimes God sound pretty mean when you read the prophets. Yet, he states that all he does is to get people to see that he is God. He wants them to find safety in him, but they keep running elsewhere. God loves me so much he would bring me short term pain that I might come back to him for life eternal. I guess that is not so mean. I am glad that God’s love does not give up on us when we wander. It is sad that we tend to wander so easily.
