God Takes Care of Us

If a man has recently married, he must not be sent to war or have any other duty laid on him. For one year he is to be free to stay at home and bring happiness to the wife he has married. Deuteronomy 24:5

Marriage is important to God and victory in war is given by God. Put those two things together and newlyweds are given a year to enjoy there time together before the husband was to be drafted to go to war. I love the way God takes care of us in times of need, but also in times of great joy. I remember our first year of marriage—It was a great year. Thank God that he who gives victory in war, provides great blessings in marriage. Let him bless you today!
