Holy Ground

All of you are standing today in the presence of the Lord your God. Deuteronomy 29:10

I get caught up in the routines of my life and forget how special each day, each moment, is. I was asked yesterday how things were going and I mumbled that they were fine. I could not think of anything worth mentioning for it to be a special day. Just as the people before Moses were that day, I was standing in the presence of God yesterday – and this morning as well. That alone makes this a special moment. We are standing on holy ground this day. That is pretty amazing. This is one very special moment – then I remember God’s promise never to leave me (a promise sealed by the blood of Jesus). This is one special life. Have a great day.
