Humble Boldness

2 Kings 20:12-21-e , Isaiah 32-33, Matthew 2:16-e

Lord, be gracious to us; we long for you. Be our strength every morning, our salvation in time of distress. Isaiah 33:2

Hezekiah was a godly king, but in a moment of pride he showed all his treasures to the Egyptians. He was foolish and his son would be a terrible king. We do well to remember each and every morning to look to God. Our strength is to humbly lean on him. It is a delicate balance for us to live boldly, but to do so humbly leaning on God for direction and strength.
