I NEED Jesus

Ezekiel 16-17, Matthew 14:1-21

When Jesus landed and saw a large crowd, he had compassion on them and healed their sick. Matthew 14:14

We wear nice clothes and live in nice houses, but Jesus sees through all that and is fully aware of our pettiness, our fears, our lies and our foolish attempts to satisfy our desires with earthly things. When he should look at us with distaste the Bible says he has compassion on us. We are so blessed to be loved by him and he gives us beauty and strength. The mistake of God’s people in the Old Testament was they forgot that everything they had was given them by God. They thought too much of themselves and discarded God. In so doing they became poor again. Don’t make the same mistake. It is by the blood of Jesus that I am holy. Thank you God!
