I Want to Know

And Moses recited the words of this song from beginning to end in the hearing of the whole assembly of Israel: Deuteronomy 31:30

I confess. I had to peek ahead to read this “song” that Moses sang for the people. What do you think that song is about? It is a song that will speak of God and his people in the future. Do you know God well enough to guess what the song will be about? Is your curiosity about what God would say raised enough to go grab a Bible and read? As I guessed about the song’s lyrics we also “guess” what God would say to us about the future. Do I hang on every word of God? His word is much more important than the reports of any news agency. I pray we always want to peek at God’s next word.
