The world and its desires pass away, but whoever does the will of God lives forever. I John 2:17

Every day I want things. I see things I would like to own and things I would like to eat. Sometimes I believe the lie that I will have greater joy if I own/eat such things. Such things might bring a sense of pleasure or pride but they cannot bring satisfaction. Even the feelings they bring are short lived. This passage is right—the only thing that lasts is to live in harmony with God. Listen to His voice today and follow His lead. I promise you, that will make this a great day!
