Jonah, II Chronicles 26, II Peter 3

To Jonah this seemed very wrong, and he became angry. Jonah 4:1

God does not want anyone to perish (II Peter 3:9) but Job did. He gave Nineveh the message that God would destroy them in 40 days. Because they repented, God did not destroy them, but this angered Jonah (4:1). God calls for you and me to do many things that our lives might honor Him. At the top of the list is to love people—all people. There is not a single person God gives up on—we should not either. Let us live so that all people might experience God’s grace – as we have.
