Let the Cow Eat

Do not muzzle an ox while it is treading out the grain. Deuteronomy 25:4

God even takes care of cows! That is great! As a cow walked over and over the grain (part of harvest process) they were to allow the cow to eat some of that grain.

I appreciate the kindness to the cow, but I think this is more about the farmer – about you and me. May we never act in a miserly manner because we are afraid that we will not have enough. This is about God wanting us to know that he will certainly take care of us and provide more than enough for us. We are rich – act like it.
