Love That Hurts

For, as I have often told you before and now tell you again even with tears, many live as enemies of the cross of Christ. Their destiny is destruction, their god is their stomach, and their glory is in their shame. Their mind is set on earthly things. Philippians 3:18-19

These words were not written in anger or pride, they were written in tears. Sometimes Christians are painted as arrogant telling the world they need what we have. It is love that wants people to know life in Jesus. It is the Bible that tells us Jesus is the only way to be saved. There are not many faces of God; there is only one – Jesus. How can I help people to look up and see how much God wants to give them what this world cannot? I think the answer is to love and to speak the truth in love. God help me to do so. AMEN.
