More Than Joy -- I Need God

Revelations 12-14, Psalms 143-144

Answer me quickly, Lord; my spirit fails. Do not hide your face from me or I will be like those who go down to the pit. Psalm 143:7

Reading in Revelation can be scary. You read of dragons who have great power to destroy. But even in those readings I see that all authority for power comes from God. He has control over all of creation. Life can be scary at times. Ours is not just joy that Jesus has come – but relief. Jesus is God’s “YES!” to our cries for help. I need you, God. I need you more than I need air. Thank you for your promise that you will always be there for me.
