No. 1 Blessing

Blessed are you, Israel! Who is like you, a people saved by the Lord? Deuteronomy 33:29

What sets you apart is that God loves you and has saved you. There is no greater blessing. You can, but you don’t need to put down all those other things on the list (e.g. health, family, stuff). If you read this chapter you will see that Moses goes down the line of the 12 tribes (sons of Jacob) and pronounces unique honor and blessing for each one. This is the father who is so proud to the parent of each of his children. God can and still does that – go down the list of EACH of his children. He is proud to call you his child. May your greatest joy be to know his love and to call God, Father. Ponder this as you prepare for Thanksgiving.
