Our Cheerleader

This day I call the heavens and the earth as witnesses against you that I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life. Deuteronomy 30:19

All of creation is watching. Those are the words Moses uses as he nears the end of his final sermon before he dies and the people enter the Promised Land. God had saved them from slavery. God had provided for them for 40 years in the desert. God promised them the land would be theirs. He has laid out for them the two paths they could take. One would bring life and the other, death. Then God does what any parent would do—he pleads with them to choose life. God still loves us so much that he cheers us on to choose him and life. I am so blessed to have God on my side. So are you. Let’s choose life!
