Our Generous God

Set apart for the Lord your God every firstborn male of your herds and flocks. Deuteronomy 15:19

Giving God the first portion (of whatever it is that you receive) is really not giving but recognizing the giver. God ALWAYS has plenty more to give – if only we honor him as the one who provides for ALL our needs. I would rather live trusting God to provide for me (more than I could ever imagine) than to think that my future depends on me. Generosity is really a barometer of how generous I believe God to be. I believe God is VERY generous, which is why it is such a joy to worship him.
