Praise God!

I will proclaim the name of the Lord. Oh, praise the greatness of our God! He is the Rock, his works are perfect, and all his ways are just. Deuteronomy 32:3-4

Whatever song we sing, it should include the praise of God who allows us to call him, Father. He is powerful and just. He never gives us cause to question him, but it is because we question him that he tests/disciplines us (see vv.18-20). There are many things I may question in life, but the greatness of God is not one of them. He never fails. Is it possible we have lost sight of his greatness? Is it possible that like Peter, we have seen the storm and wave around us and lost sight of the God beside us? Whatever you and I face this morning, but his praise be the first thing on our lips. Every morning before I open my eyes I sing the common doxology. Perhaps it is to give me a few more seconds in bed, but really it is to start my day with praise of the God from whom ALL blessings flow!
