Privileged to Hear God's Voice

For what mortal has ever heard the voice of the living God speaking out of fire, as we have, and survived? Deuteronomy 5:26

God’s are meant to terrify us. At that time, according to Moses, no one had ever heard God’s voice and survived. All of that changed with Jesus. In him the world has heard and seen God. Jesus has opened our ears and eyes to see the heart of God. He has invited us to call God, Father. He has taken away the terror because he took on himself the guilt of our sin. God wants you to hear his voice today through his Word. Someday, we will see his face with our own eyes. What an exciting day that will be when God welcomes us home. Until then, rejoice to call God, Father, and to find comfort in his touch.
