Repent and Live

Ezekiel 18-20, Matthew 14:22-e

Immediately Jesus reached out his hand and caught him. “You of little faith,” he said, “why did you doubt?” Matthew 14:31

God does not like to discipline us any more than I ever liked to discipline my children. In Ezekiel, he says several times that he finds no delight in causing the people to suffer—he just wanted them to stop do evil and listen to him. I see that when Peter’s faith fails and he quickly goes from walking on water to drowning. Matthew tells us that Jesus “immediately” reached out to lift him up. Don’t ever think God enjoys your failures. Turn to him and experience what it is to live a FULL life!
