Stay Focused

Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things. Philippians 4:8

We live in a world driven by fear. People are afraid of missing out, being singled out, failing or not measuring up. We see “fight or flight” mentality all around us—and often within us. It is the reason we buy things we do not need and condemn those who disagree. But you and I have been lifted above that. We have come to know love, hope, joy and a life that will last for eternity. In Jesus our fear has been taken away. Peter once walked on water until he took his eyes off of Jesus and looked at a big wave coming his way. Don’t take your eyes off of Jesus.
