Tall Order

In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus. Philippians 2:5

It is a tall order for you and me to think like Jesus. Sometimes I forget that I need to work every day to listen to the voice of Jesus so that I might better understand his “mindset.” When Paul goes on in verse 6 to say that his mindset was to give everything up and sacrifice his life on the cross for all of us – I realize I have so far to go. The Christian faith is not about believing in Jesus so that you can go to heaven. It is so much more. It is to have Jesus touch your life so that you live today with him. It is to know that joy that God is re-making your heart to be like Jesus’ heart. Have a great day!
