May the Lord make your love increase and overflow for each other and for everyone else, just as ours does for you. I Thessalonians 3:12
St. Paul ends chapter three with two prayers. The first is that the love of the Christians of Thessalonica would “overflow” for their fellow Christians and for those outside the church. For all the things we know the barometer of your faith has always been love. How you view and treat the people around you shows how much Jesus has transformed your heart to be like his. So love freely. Love generously. Love unconditionally. This is how God pours out love on you – and he usually does it through people. May we be his vessels of love today—that by the way we live others will see him.
