The Great Surprise!

“Don’t be alarmed,” he said. “You are looking for Jesus the Nazarene, who was crucified. He has risen! He is not here!

We are used to failure – our team loses, we let our spouse down, the car breaks down. They were heartbroken when Jesus died, but I wonder if they expected their “bubble to burst.” Easter is the great surprise! It is the moment we realize Jesus’ death was not a failure and that He is a savior who WILL NOT FAIL US! I pray you have had a great time reading the Gospel according to Mark. I pray even more that Jesus would continue to surprise you everyday with the life he brings to you.
