The Power Within--Jesus

Even the archangel Michael, when he was disputing with the devil about the body of Moses, did not himself dare to condemn him for slander but said, “The Lord rebuke you!” Jude 9

I don’t understand what Jude is talking about concerning the “body of Moses,” but I appreciate the point he makes. If angels have no power of their own to confront the devil, then neither do we. We ARE called to confront him but to do so by the power of the one who lives in us – Jesus. When confronted by evil, we can boldly say, “Satan, I have no power to tell you what to do. But through my baptism Jesus lives in me and He tells you to ‘Back off!’” Just remember—not to wander away from Jesus in your life.
