Transition of Power

The Lord your God himself will cross over ahead of you. He will destroy these nations before you, and you will take possession of their land. Joshua also will cross over ahead of you, as the Lord said. Deuteronomy 31:3

Moses knows he won’t be entering the Promised Land, so how does he handle the transition of power? He lets the people know God will lead them and that God would raise Joshua up to take Moses’ place. Should the people feel safe knowing Joshua would take over? Probably. Should we feel safe knowing God has always, and will always, lead us? Indeed! Have a great day!
