Truth vs. the lies -- Truth Wins!

The coming of the lawless one will be in accordance with how Satan works. He will use all sorts of displays of power through signs and wonders that serve the lie, and all the ways that wickedness deceives those who are perishing. II Thessalonians 2:9-10

Jesus will return again in glory, but before that happens God tells us of “the lawless one” who will seem to be winning the day. He will use “displays of power” to draw people to his ways, but the bottom line is that everything “the evil one” does and promises is a lie. The people St. Paul wrote to thought Jesus would return in the first century. I see so many lies today which only seek power. Are these signs of the end times. If so, then we must hold all the more to the TRUTH. And don’t think I have in mind elections or pandemics. The truth you and I have is that Jesus is Lord and that he would bring people together in grace. Live in that truth – proclaim that truth. The world needs to see the light of truth in the darkness of all the lies. Be a beacon of light today!
