We Don't--Jesus Does

Parents are not to be put to death for their children, nor children put to death for their parents; each will die for their own sin. Deuteronomy 24:16

I’m not sure what to think. God is gracious in that he does not hold me accountable for the things my children do, nor does he hold them accountable for my actions. The problem is that I have enough guilt of my own and so do they for God to punish each of us. It is a good thing we can all come to Jesus daily to experience grace and healing. Why? Because 2000 years ago Jesus DID take responsibility for my sins, the sins of my children and yours. Thank God!
