Jeremiah 39, 52, II Kings 25:1-21, Matthew 18:7-20

“What do you think? If a man owns a hundred sheep, and one of them wanders away, will he not leave the ninety-nine on the hills and go to look for the one that wandered off? Matthew 18:12

What do you think? I don’t think a farmer would leave the 99 sheep unprotected to go after one lost sheep – but God would. And this is what makes God so unique. It makes me feel really good because I know the many times God has come after me when I have wandered. It challenges me to change my way of thinking to align with God. Lord help me to value and to love each person as you do. Teach me to reach out to those I used to ignore. AMEN.
