You Are Not Alone

1 Corinthians 14:1-15:34, Psalms 80, 81

In your distress you called and I rescued you. Psalm 81:7

On this Thanksgiving Day 2019, there are many who are excited for the family gathering to take place and the feast to share. There are also many who have no plans for the day for they have either no feast or no family to share it with. Two things I take from this verse. 1) We all have God who hears our prayers, holds us close and rescues us. Each of us can find comfort and joy in this. 2) Be mindful of those around you who are alone. Perhaps God would have you to be the answer to another’s prayer. Have a blessed Thanksgiving.
