You Cannot Scare Me

Isaiah 37, 2 Chronicles 32:1-23, 2 Kings 18:13-e, Ephesians 6:10-e

Put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Ephesians 6:13

Sennecherib, the king of Assyria, could throw out all the insults he wanted at God’s people. His army was so much bigger there was no way on earth they could protect Jerusalem. There was one thing he did not realize—our God rules over all of creation. With one angel dispatched from heaven his army was annihilated. Don’t ever be fooled into thinking there is anything on this earth that God CANNOT protect you from. Our armor sounds silly to the world—truth, righteousness, the gospel, faith; but in this armor we are forever safe!
