Body Building

Isaiah 50-53, Ephesians 4:1-16

Awake, awake, Zion, clothe yourself with strength! Isaiah 52:1

At first glance, this passage raises the question of what that strength might be. Reading further in this chapter and the next we realize that strength is Jesus. It is all powerful Jesus who lives in us and it is Jesus who joins us with all other Christians. So how strong are you? I go to the gym to work out, but I don’t go enough to really be in shape. Doing my Jesus work out is so much more critical. How are you doing with that?
