Don't Underestimate God

His disciples answered, “But where in this remote place can anyone get enough bread to feed them?” Mark 8:4

Don’t let your first response always be “NO!” to the challenges before you. Jesus spoke of the 4000 people who were hungry and how they needed to be fed. They disciples, who had seen Jesus miraculously feed 5000 people before, said there was no way to get enough bread to feed them. In Jesus, may our first inclination be to say “YES!” to the challenges of today.

On this inauguration day I offer a simple prayer: Almighty God, no one comes to power to lead without your ordaining it. I Thank you for Pres. Trump and for Pres. elect Biden. I am grateful for the blessings you have provided me and this nation through Pres. Trump. I now ask you to give wisdom and strength to Pres. elect Biden and that I would give him the honor and respect due as he holds the office of president. Bless this nation through all our leaders. I ask this in Jesus’ holy name. AMEN.
