People cheat. We always have and always will. In OT times they weighed by comparing weights. One could easily have a weight made that said it was 50 grams when it was only 45. If you are selling something and you use the “light” weight the buyer is cheated out of five grams of product. God says that we, his people, are to act differently. We are to trust God, not try to get ahead by cheating. One of the things I have learned is that community is one of the most precious gifts God gives. Don’t destroy that by cheating anyone out of anything. Trust God to provide. He is the one who promises success here simply by our being honest.
