God Has This

Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.” Deuteronomy 31:6

Three times in this chapter God spoke these words, “be strong and courageous.” Why? I believe it is because transition is difficult. Moses had been their leader as long as they had been adults and the could not see God. The people, AND JOSHUA, had to believe God would continue to take care of them after Moses’ death. Be strong and courageous – not because you have everything under control, but because God is with you and has promised never to leave you. Leaders come and go – God will always be here for you. Interestingly enough, it was the death of Jesus that made it possible. Have a great day.
