God Holds a Grudge

Remember what the Amalekites did to you along the way when you came out of Egypt. When you were weary and worn out, they met you on your journey and attacked all who were lagging behind; they had no fear of God. Deuteronomy 25:17-18

I could not find what God was talking about here, but it is interesting to note that God does hold a grudge. The next verse says they were to blot out the name “Amalek” from the earth. Not knowing the context, I cannot speak definitively but I like how God takes offence at those things that try to hurt his people. God takes it personally when someone/something would hurt you. He takes such offense that Jesus came to defeat Satan, our great enemy, for us. I pray that helps you to find a little hop in your step as you begin this day! Remember: they go after you – they must deal with God! Praise God!!!
