God is So GOOD!

Celebrate the Festival of Tabernacles for seven days after you have gathered the produce of your threshing floor and your winepress. Be joyful at your festival. Deuteronomy 16:13-14

It was a week long celebration of the harvest—no matter how good/bad the harvest was. You don’t cancel Thanksgiving. But it also pointed them to the time when God had provided for them in the desert for 40 years prior to their entering the Promised Land. They set up ‘tabernacles’ (tents) during the festival to remind them of how God had provided. For 40 years God had given them food daily and their clothes never wore out (sorry shoppers). Make a list of 10 things you would thank God for and how he has provided for you. Do it now.
