Hosea 6-10, 1 Peter 5

Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time. I Peter 5:6

Do you trust God? Do you trust Him not only to protect you, but to give you success (whether it be honor, some promotion or healing)? We often turn to God for forgiveness, but this verse invites us to trust God for the direction our lives will take. Don’t worry about the outcomes. Realize that the plans God has for us – are better than any we could think of. That frees us to live in the moment and trust the future to Him. Can we trust Him? One look at the cross gives us the answer.
