Honesty and Trust

Ezekiel 21-23, Matthew 15:1-28

The lowly will be exalted and the exalted will be brought low. Ezekiel 21:26

I always thought I needed to give my best for God. That set me up for guilt over my failure which led me to try to hide my shortcomings and display a false righteousness. God never asked for that. He simply asks that we come to him humbly – knowing our need for him and trusting that he will help us. I do much better as I seek God’s direction and strength and honor him for giving me the righteousness of Jesus. You can do this. It begins with repentance and surrender. Trust God!
