How We Deal With Trials

Among God’s churches we boast about your perseverance and faith in all the persecutions and trials you are enduring. All this is evidence that God’s judgment is right, and as a result you will be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which you are suffering. I Thessalonians 1:4-5

How we deal with “persecutions and trials” is often a very good barometer of faith. St. Paul commends the Christians of Thessalonica and assures them that God will not let them down. There is much tension in our world today. I pray people will see joy, compassion and confidence in me—as I see Jesus in all of this. Actually, I pray people would see Jesus in me.
