In This Together

Look down from heaven, your holy dwelling place, and bless your people Israel. Deuteronomy 26:15

We are in this together. When one man brought is tithe to God there was a litany he was to go through that spoke of history and God’s goodness. At the end, though, he was to pray for God’s blessing. This request was not for him or his family; it was for all God’s people. It is a great blessing for us to be connected as God’s family. Individuality is a big thing in our country, but within the church we are in this together. My offering is not meant to bring me blessing—but to bring US blessing. It is in the church that God wants to teach us the blessing of living in community. Thanks God!
