Jesus Is God's Justice League

Follow justice and justice alone, so that you may live and possess the land the Lord your God is giving you. Deuteronomy 16:20

Justice (in the Bible) is about making things right. We think that is about determining a victim and a criminal. Determining who has done wrong does not make things right. Punishing the criminal does not make everything good for the victim. A murderer in prison does not take away the loss of the family in mourning. For God, justice brings people together. He does this by showing us the power of forgiveness and the wonder of grace. Give some time to consider how you might pursue justice today. God’s pursuit of justice took Jesus to the cross.
